Book presentation “Trends and Lifestyle Arlberg ”

The Schmelzhof is portrayed on 4 pages of the new Arlberg book.

The Umschau Publishing House has released a 184 page book about the Arlberg region. The authors, Cornelia Haller and Christian Gulfer highlight the villages of the Arlberg, Hotels, shops, Guest houses, ski huts and much more. The Hotel Schmelzhof is represented over four opulently photographed pages and the authors speak of its “unique flair and charm to melt your heart”, an elegant take on the hotels name ( Schmelz – melt). They lavishly describe the furnishings and warm ambience and have only words of praise for the offerings  of the kitchen and cellar. And as we would obviously not want to deprive you of the pleasure of reading this article for yourself we have made it available to download here as a PDF.

The book “Trends and Lifestyle Arlberg” is available in the languages German (ISBN 978-3-86528-5010) and English (ISBN 978-3-86528-503-4) from the Umschau Publishing House and in well stocked book stores. Guests at the Schmelzhof can also purchase the book at the hotel reception.

Jack Frost overslept a little this year, but now he is wide awake...
You-hoo! The snowball fight can begin!
Winter is finally here... and this is just the beginning; 40 – 80cm are pected this week. Therefore there's nothing to get in the way of the Schmelzhof opening on Thursday! Robert's off to wax his skis.

On a Sunday morning in October, Winter made a little visit. The snow canons are already in the starting blocks. Grandmother has had to trample a little path in the snow. Doesn't this winter landscape look magnificent? We are very happy that Jack Frost has awakened again.
