Welcome to a perfect winter paradise. The Hotel Schmelzhof and Lech am Arlberg have so much to offer. For the winter sportsperson to the pleasure seeking skier, the magic of Advent through to Easter, powder snow or firn, we have the perfect package for everyone.
Our package deals for December until April:
Let yourself be pampered for 7 days at the Schmelzhof with 7 mornings of Grandmothers famous breakfast buffet and a 6 course dinner each night. A 6 day ski pass including a snack in the afternoons. Then depending on your individual package, maybe a romantic horse drawn sled ride or a wine tasting, a guided firn ski tour or a snow picnic. 01.12. – 21.12.2011 Magic of Advent
Probably the most beautiful time of the year at the Schmelzhof, filled with the aromas of baked apples and biscuits fresh from the oven. The pre Christmas atmosphere will enchant you.
07.01 – 04.02.2012 Sportweeks 1 + 2
This will get the heart of every winter sportsperson pumping! Powder snow as far as the eye can see with perfectly prepared pistes, groomed cross-country tracks and walking trails inviting you to ski alpine, cross-country or to take a winter hike. Dive straight into the pure winter snow!
17.03. – 31.03.2012 Ski-Firn
The power of the spring sun is now clearly noticeable with fantastic firn slopes to discover as well as pistes and cross-country tracks still in perfect condition. Enjoy spring in the mountains!
15.04 – 22.04.2012 Ski, Fun and Sun
This is last chance for the pleasure seeking skier. Show off your sporty side in the mornings on the brilliantly prepared pistes and spend the afternoons in short sleeves on the large Schmelzhof terrace with a slice of Apple strudel and good book. What more could one want?

 - It's all go on the Schlegelkopf!
 - End of slideshow! We have done everything in our power to make your winter holiday a fantastic one. We look forward to seeing you! Gitti & Robert Strolz and the Schmelzhof team.

 - Winter is finally here... and this is just the beginning; 40 – 80cm are pected this week. Therefore there's nothing to get in the way of the Schmelzhof opening on Thursday! Robert's off to wax his skis.
 - 77. Mia, our lucky cat, and Marina are also enjoying the white splendour.
 - The *Schmelzhof cookie factory* opens. Marina, Sabine, Franziska, Grandmother and Gitti are having a whale of a time!
 - Grandmother's rum balls may all be of different sizes, but they are super delicious. Sit back and have a taste – don't you agree?
 - You won't believe it, she's back again! Marina and the team are looking forward to a great winter season.
 - Gitti is already happily occupied with the winter deco!
 - We have been sticking lots of great, funny memories into the Ski Club album 2010/2011. We're proud of them! Viva Pronto!
 - Robert: It was an awful lot of work, but Sabine made it fun.
 - The Autumn shows its beautiful side once more (little Indian Summer from the Omeshorn).
 - Grandmother and Josef-Antons' potato harvest was successful this year!
 - There's nothing getting in the way of a delicious potato soup this winter!
 - Duzi's last beautiful summer bouqet. She has provided us with so many pretty bouquets. Now nature is getting quieter, and everything is poised for winter.
 - On a Sunday morning in October, Winter made a little visit. The snow canons are already in the starting blocks. Grandmother has had to trample a little path in the snow. Doesn't this winter landscape look magnificent? We are very happy that Jack Frost has awakened again.
 - Woohoo, it's snowing! October 7th and the first snow is here. Bring on the winter!
 - Gerry and Muck are wielding their paintbrushes again this year...
