Guaranteed snow and versatility have helped the ski resort of Lech Zürs am Arlberg to become the favored meeting point of experienced winter sport enthusiasts for more than a century now. Not only the 280 km of perfect pistes and the 180 km of ski touring slopes make up the special myth of Lech, for as well as the breathtaking panorama, Lech Zürs again offer a first class program of events in the winter season of 2010/11.
Our first highlight being the Boarder cross- World Cup Tour which makes a stop in Lech on the 7th and 8th December. Two spectacular contests have been scheduled, starting with a night race where the Schlegelkopf piste will be completely illuminated with the event also being shown on international television shows worldwide.
December has lots more on offer – the Christmas market and the opening of the winter exhibit “Between tradition and modern” in the Huber house. Lech Zürs will ring in the New Year with an impressive fireworks display.
Many more highlights follow with the White Ring – The Race being held on the 15th January and then the Bregenzer Festspiele in the snow on the 27th and 30th January 2011. Music concerts, ski shows from the ski school Lech, winter golf, Wine and Firn or the Lecher mountain trophy round off the varied program.

 - Winter is finally here... and this is just the beginning; 40 – 80cm are pected this week. Therefore there's nothing to get in the way of the Schmelzhof opening on Thursday! Robert's off to wax his skis.

 - Grandmother's rum balls may all be of different sizes, but they are super delicious. Sit back and have a taste – don't you agree?
 - You won't believe it, she's back again! Marina and the team are looking forward to a great winter season.

 - We have been sticking lots of great, funny memories into the Ski Club album 2010/2011. We're proud of them! Viva Pronto!
 - Robert: It was an awful lot of work, but Sabine made it fun.
 - The Autumn shows its beautiful side once more (little Indian Summer from the Omeshorn).
 - Grandmother and Josef-Antons' potato harvest was successful this year!
 - There's nothing getting in the way of a delicious potato soup this winter!
 - Duzi's last beautiful summer bouqet. She has provided us with so many pretty bouquets. Now nature is getting quieter, and everything is poised for winter.
 - On a Sunday morning in October, Winter made a little visit. The snow canons are already in the starting blocks. Grandmother has had to trample a little path in the snow. Doesn't this winter landscape look magnificent? We are very happy that Jack Frost has awakened again.
 - Woohoo, it's snowing! October 7th and the first snow is here. Bring on the winter!
